All About the Farm

For families and groups of 10 or more.

Admission: $5 per person. Free to SRHF members

This tour provides the background and history of Forest Home Farms Historic Park. Learn about the Boone Family that purchased the farm in 1899 and see all the buildings and exhibits including the Tractor Museum with over 30 restored antique tractors..

Fun with Farm Animals

For children’s groups of 10 or more, ages 5 & up.

Admission: $5 per child. Free to SRHF members.

Forest Home Farms has sheep, horses, and chickens. On this 45 minute tour you’ll learn what animals eat, how they are cleaned, sheep herding, and more! We work with scout groups to fulfill animal care badge requirements.

Dig in and Grow

For children’s groups of 10 or more, ages 5 and up.

Admission: $5 per child.

Have an adventure in our organic garden! During this 45-minute tour children will learn about the principles of organic gardening, composting, recycling and the role of bees in the garden. This tour will include hands on activities and fresh garden tastings, when available.

Behind-the-Scenes with Tractors

For groups of 10 or more, ages 8 and up.

Great for Car Clubs, Scout groups, and tractor enthusiasts.

Admission: $5 per person.

Learn all about tractors! Take a behind-the- scenes look at the tractor restoration process. Includes a tour of the Tractor Museum with over 30 restored tractors. Look inside the machine shop, hands-on interactive displays and a video showing tractor restoration. Tours are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only.

Preschool Fun at the Farm

For preschool groups ages 3 to 5 years of age and their chaperones. For groups of 10 or more only.

Admission: $5 per child.

There’s lots of fun waiting for you at the farm! Visit the chickens and sheep and see all the tractors! Enjoy singing farm songs and hearing stories.

Glass House Museum

For groups of 10 or more only. Special tour and hands-on activity stations for youth groups ages 5-up.

Admission: $5 per person. Ages 2 and under free. Free to members of the SRHF.

Built in 1877, the Glass House has been restored to its original beauty and fully furnished. Step back in time to the Victorian era to see what life was like in the San Ramon Valley for a middle class farm family in the late 19th century.
