Annual Victorian Tea is a Great Success

Ladies at Tea at Forest Home FarmsOn Sunday, September 12th, the Foundation held its 11th annual Victorian Tea honoring Ruth Quayle Boone who donated Forest Home Farms to the city of San Ramon. Joel Harlan: A San Ramon Valley Pioneer

Joel was 17 years old in Spring 1846 and endured a treacherous trip up steep canyons, over high mountains and through treacherous deserts. The family left Fort Bridger, Wyoming on July 29 with another group of wagons known as the Donner party. Some travelers did not survive. Read more...

In an effort to improve communications with our members and to lower our printing and mailing costs, the foundation is building an email distribution list. Members are requested to provide their email address to Sue Yura at syura@att.net. If you do not have an email address, the foundation will continue to mail a newsletter to you each quarter.
